Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, our authentication provider (currently Supabase) processes your email address, credentials or login links, and related security settings (such as multi-factor authentication). We use this to operate sign-in, protect accounts, and communicate service-related messages.
• Usage and device data. We use Google Analytics (gtag) to understand aggregate traffic, engagement, and technical issues. Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source.
• Local storage. The product may store preferences or recent activity (for example, recent ticker searches) in your browser (localStorage) to improve your experience on your device.
• Research inputs. When you search tickers or use features, our servers process those requests to return quotes, news, analytics, and related content. We do not use that data to provide personalized investment recommendations.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and secure the service, understand usage, fix bugs, comply with law, and enforce our Terms. We do not sell your personal information as a commodity. We may use vendors (hosting, analytics, authentication, market data) who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards appropriate to their role.

Market and third-party data

Market data, news, and similar content come from third-party providers. Their accuracy, timeliness, and completeness are not guaranteed. Those providers’ terms may apply to how their data may be used.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions where applicable and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may limit certain features.

Retention
